OwlSoft ("we", "us", "our") operates the Heads Up Poker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Display name (nickname)
- Match codes for code-based or group matches
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device identifiers (advertising ID, Firebase Installation ID, etc.)
- Device model, OS version, language settings
- IP address and approximate location (country level)
- Usage data (sessions, screen views, gameplay events by mode)
- Crash reports (stack traces, device state at the time of crash)
- Game state required for online play (hole cards, betting actions, rating changes)
1.3 Purchase information
When you make an in-app purchase, we receive the product ID and timestamp from Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App
- To provide matchmaking, leaderboards, and match history
- To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
- To investigate and resolve crashes and bugs
- To deliver and measure advertising
- To provide and restore paid features (premium subscriptions, individual purchases)
- To comply with applicable law and resolve disputes
3. Sharing With Third Parties
We share data with the following service providers strictly to operate the App:

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Advertising
The App displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID for personalized ads. In the EU/UK we obtain consent through IAB TCF v2.2.
You can opt out of personalized advertising via:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
5. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under 17 (under 19 in Korea). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA compliance). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. Data Retention
- Match history and statistics: stored locally on the device.
- Rating and purchase entitlements: stored on our servers; deletable upon request.
- Crash logs: retained per Firebase defaults (up to 90 days).
- Advertising data: governed by AdMob policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell data). EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All network traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. However, no system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
The App's data may be processed in the United States, Japan, and other countries. For users in the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) for international transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or in the App Store / Google Play description.
